Fig Mostarda and Vinegar Glaze

I'm not sure this really qualifies as a recipe because it's just combining two ingredients, but this easy sweet and spicy glaze is perfect for poultry and pork.


1/2 cup Condimento Manestrini

1/4 cup Fig Mostarda-Mostarda di Fichi


In a small saucepan, bring the vinegar (Condimento Manestrini) to a boil and cook over medium heat until it's reduced by about 1/3 (3-5 minutes).  Add the Mostarda di Fichi and cook about 1 minute until the mustard has melted a bit. Bring to room temperature. Either use immediately or the glaze can be refrigerated for several days; bring to room temperature before using.
